Important Reminders!

Thanksgiving Break: Next week, November 24th - 28th, there will not be school in observance of Thanksgiving.  Have a great holiday!

PTSA Poinsettia Sale: The blooming poinsettia orders are due on Wednesday (tomorrow)!  Send the orders and monies with your student to school on Wednesday.  The poinsettias will be delivered after school on Tuesday, December 2nd.  More to follow.

Spelling Bee: Good Luck to 5th grader Anish Ahuja who won the North Stockton Spelling Bee and will compete in the County Spelling Bee starting on December 1st.

Dress Code Reminder: Fall is here and a it’s good time to review the dress code policy as found in the planner. Tops should always cover undergarments. Shorts and skirts must be at least finger tip length. Leggings are not allowed unless if under a dress or skirt that is finger tip length. Leggings or other stretch-type bottoms like exercise/yoga pants alone are not appropriate attire. Hats may be worn outside but must be removed when entering a building. Middle school students have PE daily, so athletic shoes are   required. Students not in dress code may be given an alternate outfit to wear and/or call home for appropriate clothing.

Homework Requests: Absent students are responsible for making up all missed work. Students absent for one or two days should expect to take care of missed work, tests, and assignments upon their return to school. Parents/Guardians may contact the office to request homework on the third day of an excused absence.  Teachers cannot be expected to prepare assignments for planned absences that exceed five days. Please note that removing your student from school for an extended period of time results in a large quantity of make-up assignments and irretrievable/irrecoverable instructional time.
